The conference, fifth of its kind, seeks to create a platform to share research and practice in counseling and psychotherapy and traditional healing practices within a context of multiculturalism and diversity. The conference is organized by Christ University, Bangalore in association with Collaborating Universities and Professional Associations.

Conference host 
The conference is hosted by the department of psychology at Christ University. The department of psychology at Christ is the largest in the country offering doctoral programmes in psychology, eight specialized Masters level training programmes in Psychology and nine undergraduate tracks. The department offers programmes in four campuses in Bangalore and one in Delhi NCR

College of Education, Washington State University, USA

A modern college of education,  prepares students for a variety of fields. Beyond their teacher preparation program, they host undergraduate programs in sport management, as well as kinesiology and athletic training.

Society  for integrating Traditional Healing into Counselling Psychology, Psychotherapy  and Psychiatry (SithCp3)
The Society for the Integration of Traditional Healing into Counselling  Psychology, Psychotherapy and Psychiatry (SITHCP3) is developed to promote, encourage and nurture research on the integration of traditional healing practices into counselling psychology, psychotherapy, and psychiatry. The international society will serve as a reference group to researchers, health practitioners, traditional healers, and community workers interested in the interface between talking therapies and spiritual approaches to healing in counselling psychology, psychotherapy, and psychiatry.
